Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of myfreefileconverter.com and its browser-based file tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tools.
Using the service
The listed tools are free to use and do not require an account. Select a tool that supports your source file and intended output. You are responsible for using the service lawfully and for having permission to process the files you select.
Your files and ownership
You retain ownership of your files. Using a conversion tool does not transfer that ownership to us. You remain responsible for any copyright, confidentiality, or other obligations relating to the original file and its converted output.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to violate another person's rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to website systems. Conversion does not remove restrictions that apply to a source file.
Conversion quality and limits
Output depends on the source file, conversion method, and browser support. Conversions may alter or remove quality, metadata, transparency, formatting, or other features. The tool pages describe relevant limits. Keep an original copy and inspect the output before relying on it.
Most tools accept up to 25 MB of combined input; ZIP tools accept 50 MB. Additional limits apply to PDF pages, audio duration, image dimensions, and archive extraction. Tools may reject files below the size limit if device resources or file features prevent processing.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, or discontinue tools. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or a successful result for every file. The site is not a backup or file-storage service, and we cannot recover files processed only in your browser.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. You are responsible for maintaining backups and checking your results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Privacy and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains local file processing and other website data. External links and email services may have separate terms and privacy policies.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Review this page when you return to use the service. Questions about these terms can be sent through our Contact Us page.
